Brixton Camping and Caravanning Park
In the countryside surrounding Plymouth, Devon. Based on a historical working farm in a small village near the beautiful South Hams and Dartmoor – a popular area for walks and cycling holidays – as well as local beaches. Is also only five miles away from Plymouth city centre. Facilities provided include showers, washing up area, toilets and shaver points. The local village has a pub, restaurant and local take away, shops and post office that guests regularly use. There is also a local bus service that runs from the village to beauty spots and shopping centres. The campsite is open from March to September and tariffs start at £6 a night for one adult and tent.

Small, adult-only park in the Chew Valley of Bath, Somerset. An excellent quality camping experience, graded as 5 star (Exceptional) by the English Tourist Board, this campsite has won numerous awards including: David Bellamy Gold award for conservation and Loo of the Year; and is a proud member of the Best of British group. Trevornick Holiday Park
Family run camping facility in Newquay, Cornwall. High quality caravanning park right by Holywell Bay that welcomes families and couples. Was voted Holiday Park of the Year in 2006. Has five different standards of pitch from the standard catering for one tent or caravan and a car, to a jumbo pitch with excellent views, electric hook-up and ample space for extra privacy. There are special offers for late bookings and long stays. Bookings must be made for a minimum of a week during the peak season, which runs from July to September. Prices include free use of facilities and the childrens club. There is also a club for evening entertainment. Tents are available for hire.

Mill Farm Caravan and Camping Park
In Bridgewater, Somerset, near the Quantock hills, the Somerset coast and Bridgwater market town. Facilities available to guests include a heated pool and two outdoor pools, entertainment, a bar, horse riding, trampolining, games room, cycle hire and boating activities. Practical facilities for campers include a modern shower block with razor points and baby changing area, a shop, and laundrette. A standard pitch for two adults and a tent is priced at £12 a night. Horse riding is £6 for half an hour and canoes can be hired for £4 an hour. Local attractions include Cricket St Thomas wildlife park, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Exmoor national park and the caves at both Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge.

Family campsite on a farm in the countryside of St. Ives, Cornwall. Is based one and half miles from the famous town of St Ives and its beaches, with a regular local bus service for easy access. Based on a family-run working farm in the countryside of Ashburton, Devon. Excellent location for exploring the countryside with beaches a short drive away and the moors close by. With 350 acres to offer the pitches are private and spacious. Fully equipped static caravans and wood chalets are avaliable for hire and can sleep up to eight people. Pets are usually welcome and an exercise field is available. For campers there is a modern shower block with razor points and private cubicles, a washing area, launderette, ironing facilites, and post box and phone box. A standard pitch for two people, a car and electric hook-up starts at £8 a night.

Old Oaks Touring Park
Based in the historic town of Glastonbury, Somerset, this caravan and camping park is adult centred for a relaxing break. The English Tourism Council has awarded five stars to this park for its excellent standard of hospitality. Pitches are private and well spaced and the park is very clean. Amenities include a well kept shower block and washing facilities with hairdryers and razor points; freezer facility and laundrette. There is also a small shop selling newspapers and groceries. In the peak season newspapers and local fresh bread can be provided to order. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Glastonbury town is a short walk away as are the spectacular Mendip hills. Situated on its own secluded, private beach in Combe Martin, Devon. On-site facilities include a heated pool and childrens club, shops, restaurant, childrens play areas, bar, and evening entertainment.
