Chew Valley Caravan Park
Small, adult-only park in the Chew Valley of Bath, Somerset. An excellent
quality camping experience, graded as 5 star (Exceptional) by the English
Tourist Board, this campsite has won numerous awards including: David Bellamy
Gold award for conservation and Loo of the Year; and is a proud member of
the Best of British group. This campsite prides itself on providing a peaceful
get-away in beautiful surroundings, with trout fishing available nearby
as well as the city of Bath. Other tourist attractions include the Cheddar
Gorge, Roman Baths, Wells Cathedral and wonderful walks. The local village
has a shop and plenty of pubs and restaurants within walking distance.

Old Oaks Touring Park
Based in the historic town of Glastonbury, Somerset, this caravan and camping
park is adult centred for a relaxing break. The English Tourism Council
has awarded five stars to this park for its excellent standard of hospitality.
Pitches are private and well spaced and the park is very clean. Amenities
include a well kept shower block and washing facilities with hairdryers
and razor points; freezer facility and laundrette. There is also a small
shop selling newspapers and groceries. In the peak season newspapers and
local fresh bread can be provided to order. Well behaved dogs are welcome.
Glastonbury town is a short walk away as are the spectacular Mendip hills.
Cycle hire is available on the campsite. Tariffs start at £11 a night
for a two person tent-pitch.
Mill Farm Caravan and Camping Park
In Bridgewater, Somerset, near the Quantock hills, the Somerset coast and
Bridgwater market town. Facilities available to guests include a heated
pool and two outdoor pools, entertainment, a bar, horse riding, trampolining,
games room, cycle hire and boating activities. Practical facilities for
campers include a modern shower block with razor points and baby changing
area, a shop, and laundrette. A standard pitch for two adults and a tent
is priced at £12 a night. Horse riding is £6 for half an hour
and canoes can be hired for £4 an hour. Local attractions include
Cricket St Thomas wildlife park, Glastonbury Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Exmoor
national park and the caves at both Wookey Hole and Cheddar Gorge.
